You heard right people, we may be getting another version of the
game to buy as an update for MvC3.
Rumors are saying that dozen characters will be added, with some
speculating Frank West and Doctor Octopus to make it in, as they
were in the original game's files.
Capcom announced they have announcements for MvC3 at Comic Con, so
we'll have to wait till July 23 to find out what's in store.
Sounds cool. But do we have to pay another 40 dollars for the new version? If so, then I probably won't be getting it (not worth it for 12 characters).
"My mind is my weapon. My brother has his sword, King Robert has his warhammer and I have my mind... and a mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone if it is to keep its edge. That’s why I read so much, Jon Snow."
In case you didn't notice, stories are not all that good in fighting games, nor are they particularly necessary. They aren't even front-and-center when they do have stories, just a brief little scene between matches, and perhaps a different animation at the beginning of the fight.
Though, I thought Rival Schools had a relatively interesting story. I don't imagine there will be a great story here, seeing as it will be written fairly quickly and is the afterthought of an afterthought.

Super Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 Deluxe Hyper ' Turbo Championship Edition
Followed by HD remixes of all of those twenty years from now.
Lupinko, the guy who leaked the roster of SSFIV and MvC3 had this to say yesterday:
Quote:
#datmarvel dis pair, well they have been mentioned already in the past but brought up again but you will be surprised, pleasantly? probably

I'm guessing they're going to announce the two characters on disk: Frank and Doc Oc.

If people were smart, they would have realized that Capcom pulls this crap all the time, and would have held out. Those people get everything you guys got, but for a total of forty dollars, but if you want the stuff from the new one, and already have the old one, you are out $100.
Also, why no Gambit? No Gambit, and I wouldn't buy it, even if I had a PS3/Xbox 360.
Phoenix Wright? WHY?
He's a lawyer, who's claim to fame is saying "Objection!" in a dramatic way {I know one of you are going to link me to one of those objection pages}, and who is known to not have any fighting skills.
As for Marvel? Why would you choose the unheard of Rocket Raccoon over Gambit, who was in the previous two Marvel vs. Capcom games, and he was also in Street Fighter vs. X-Men, and a few other Capcom fighting games.
Frank West: I saw that coming.
Virgil: I saw that coming, I just hope he doesn't play like Dante.
"My mind is my weapon. My brother has his sword, King Robert has his warhammer and I have my mind... and a mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone if it is to keep its edge. That’s why I read so much, Jon Snow."
I agree, Phoenix Wright fights legal battles, and has little, if any, physical power. How the hell is a sub-average human fighter going to fight the half-demon Dante, or the goddess Ameteresu, or any super hero ever?
Crispy: I know you didn't just call Dr. Strange lame. I can understand someone not liking The Iron Fist, but Dr. Strange is just awesome.
Strange is great but Rocket Raccoon and Nova/Iron Fist should've been replaced with Venom and Gambit or at least someone a little bit more recognizable and popular.
