The Essential 100 Post-Script: 25 Words About 25 Games

Whoops, it looks like there was one last bit of our last cover story -- The Essential 100, Part 1 -- that we completely forgot to mention! Our weekly video. Silly us.

Now, putting together a video for a countdown of 100 games is a tricky endeavor; we could easily spend the rest of the year working on that project alone. We could become so bogged down we don't even have time to finish off the other 75 entries of The Essential 100. Yet nothing gets the point of these games across like seeing them in action, right? We love video, but we're terrified of its demands. And so, we arranged a compromise: 25 Words About 25 Games.

We tackled 25 games last week in respectably detailed text. Economy is more important on film, though, so rather than go on at length about last week's entries we chose to take a more efficient approach, offering you exactly 25 about each of the 25 titles commemorated last week. It may not seem like a lot of words, but it actually works out to 750 total. That's a bunch! Edutainment at its finest!

(This video may or may not have been inspired by the Nails song "88 Lines About 44 Women.")
