Groundhog Day
Groundhog Day (film) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

The film, Groundhog Day, is one of those enjoyable films that has the ability to make me watch the entire thing if I'm channel surfing (see also Shawshank Redemption, Deep Impact, and Forrest Gump) What do you guys think about it?

Also, does anyone have a way of celebrating this completely made up holiday? Here is mine...

I like the movie but not as much as my wife does. I think she just has a thing for Bill Murray though.

Btw why Deep Impact? One of the movies the has the ability over me is Full Metal Jacket. The other day it came on when I wanted to go to bed and I stayed up and watched the whole thing.

I love that movie. I always wonder what I would do if I was in that situation. It's never a good thing that pops up in my head . I celebrate fake holidays the same way!

Ground hog's day is a good on I have a habit of referencing it everyh time something gets monotonous.
The movie that always grabs my attention while channel surfing is the sandlot. it was just on last night and it made my day.

@DB, about Deep Impact...I dunno, it just does. It is totally sweet how just about every main character buys the farm.

@Warghoul...Yes!!! The Sandlot does it too.

Both Goodfellas and Casino do it to me too.

The key to the Groundhog Day isn't booze, it is Woodchuck Hard Cider...yum.
