Every time i looked up how to port forward, any info I got had one thing different than my setup, which made all the info useless

well i pretty much gave up on it anyways, nothing i did worked

Been trying to set up a mc server, but to no avail. Any tips?

Well I need to know if the mods are wanted by the majority, and if they wont take up too much memory.

I think I'll just ask everyone if they want the old world, or a new one, and whatever one gets the most votes wins.

So I've been looking at computers, and I should be getting one with 6 gigs of ram. That should be plenty for a server that will probably have 7 people on at once at the very max, right?

So based on your experiences with mc servers, how much RAM would you recommend if i wanted to keep the server up and running well at all times and still be able to do other things?

Would be one for RU. I read that the minimum needed is 1gb, which I have, but I wouldn't be able to do anything else on this computer.

Ah, i'll probably just wait until i get a new comp then, this pathetic excuse for a computer barely has 1gb.

Remember how you ran your own mc server? I'm wondering if my computer would be able to handle something like that. How much RAM does your computer have?
