Final Fantasy 5 - January 2013

Clear Final Fantasy 5 Super Nintendo for 40 game club points.

Final Fantasy V (ファイナルファンタジーV Fainaru Fantajī Faibu[ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Installing_Japanese_character_sets"]?[/ame]) is a medieval-fantasy role-playing video game developed and published by Square (now [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Square_Enix"]Square Enix[/ame]) in 1992 as a part of the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Fantasy"]Final Fantasy[/ame] series. The game first appeared only in Japan on [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo"]Nintendo[/ame]'s [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Nintendo_Entertainment_System"]Super Famicom[/ame] (known internationally as the Super Nintendo Entertainment System). It has been ported with minor differences to [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sony_Computer_Entertainment"]Sony[/ame]'s PlayStation and Nintendo's [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_Boy_Advance"]Game Boy Advance[/ame]. An [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Original_video_animation"]original video animation[/ame] produced in 1994 called [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Fantasy:_Legend_of_the_Crystals"]Final Fantasy: Legend of the Crystals[/ame] serves as a sequel to the events depicted in the game. It was released for the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation_Network"]PlayStation Network[/ame] on April 6, 2011 in Japan.
The game begins as a wanderer named Bartz investigates a fallen meteor. There, he encounters several characters, one of whom reveals the danger facing the four Crystals that control the world's elements. These Crystals act as a seal on Exdeath, an evil sorcerer. Bartz and his party must keep the Crystals from being exploited by Exdeath's influence and prevent his resurgence.
Final Fantasy V has been praised for the freedom of customization that the player has over the characters, achieved through the greatly expanded [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Fantasy_character_classes"]Job System[/ame]. Despite the lack of an early release in territories other than Japan, the Super Famicom version sold more than two million copies. The PlayStation version has earned "[ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Sony_Greatest_Hits_games"]Greatest Hits[/ame]" status, selling more than 350,000 copies.

Re: Final Fantasy 5 - January 2013

Won't be able to finish this by the end of the month because of midterms but I'm having fun with it. Hopefully should have it done within the next few weeks depending on schoolwork.

I'm only about halfway through the game and the hardest part has yet to come. This may be my first Final Fantasy game I've actually beaten which is cool.

Very close to finishing. Shame I couldn't start this game earlier. I only have about 2-4 more hours worth of gameplay depending on grinding.

Up to the final boss. Having some trouble but slowly progressing each time. Should have this wrapped up by Thursday, the latest.
