Based on what you're suspected of Paul -

How on earth would I know that the person I'm exchanging emails with isn't you?

Getting him to join here or pointing us to a digital footprint anywhere online e.g. Twitter, Facebook - anything! Where he had an online presence prior to say June 2014 would be a start.

Forgive me if I'm sounding negative, but I've spent most of the last week going round in circles.

If anyone who organised the tournament would like to take you up on the offer instead and email "Dave" please go ahead and contact Paul.
