I love this game! I played it on my cousin's SNES once, I never had the game, but I bought it for the Virtual Console. Sad to see no ArcadeOX Score Mode. I wanted to Master it. :sinister:

Master can't be enabled for this game because the emulator does not support the SA-1 chip that the game requires.
At least you can play it on Virtual Console =). It's a pretty good game, the last big game for SNES.

I played it, it was fun. But I did nothing in it, so it's not much of an accomplishment.
I made a review for it a while back. http://retrouprising.com/video-games/reviews/super-mario-rpg/t9591/
Feel free to make your own on any game. It's fun if you like to spend time making reviews.

Great review Jozman! :D I might go onto the Virtual Console now and start playing it again :P

Never really got into this game too much. I played it, but it just didn't draw me in like most RPGs do.

It's honestly not that exciting of an RPG. If you like Mario or if you've never played an RPG before you might find it good. But it's pretty simplistic otherwise.

Exactly, for an RPG it isn't all that interesting. Even for a Mario RPG it isn't all that special.
The Mario and Luigi series is more interesting in my opinion.

It gets credit for being the first one, and for demonstrating some impressive technology for the SNES.
Tough critics...well I thought it was great!

It is good, and impressive on a technical level to say the least, but I wasn't drawn into it really.
