Which is the better game

Which is the better game? Kid Icarus, or Metroid? Two games of the same genre, and almost the EXACT same type of gameplay. These two games are one of the most known games for the NES. I wouldnt be able to chose which game is better, so i want to know the opinion of other people.

Hey Bro! Pretty Good First Post. I would go for Metroid because it has a much more deep and interesting story. The two games were released at the same time by the same people, Gunpei Yokoi's unit at Nintendo known as Nintendo R&D 1 otherwise known as Intelligent Systems. Metroid was the more popular of the two and became one of the main series at Nintendo that still goes on today. Metroid is also more fun in my opinion because you have more freedom and space to do things the way you want. Kid Icarus, though I love that game, is a bit more linear than Metroid because you don't have as much freedom. Both are great games but I will have to go with Metroid man.

I choose Kid Icarus because I didn't really like the first Metroid too much.

I think metroid was a better game. Although Kid icarus wasn't bad it didn't hold my interest like metroid. Rolling up in a ball or shooting arrows at eggplant wizards? Rolling wins. 8)

I think i'll chose Metroid as the better game because metorid has simply better in gameplay, u get more weapons, roll up in a ball, and theres more to do

Haha. Sorry, but for some reason I really don't like either of those games. They are well made, and I can see how someone could love either of them, but I am just not entertained by them.

Yeah I didn't love either game, I did play metroid some but it was kinda boring. I prefer RPGs anyways.
