We like games. We like them a lot. So it's only understandable that we would want to take the things we like best about games out of those games and into the real world, so that we can like them there as well. And this, friends, is why God invented toys.

Thankfully, games are now a big enough deal that the toys licensed from them are usually of a pretty high quality. There have though, been some absolute stinking abominations over the years. And it's these wretched, malformed plastic beings that we're going to pay tribute to here. They should never have existed. But they did. And now you have to deal with it.

I used to have the whole set of SF2 G.I. Joes, I traded 4 Sailor Moon pins for them, then years later my buddy wanted them back, so I gave them back to him.

I loved the Taki one. We always called her Toeki anyways because of her obvious cameltoe. I gotta say though, they really made it more noticable for the toy.

Wow, that is quite prominent. Interesting figure.

Probably I'm too old to have seen many of the game related characters, and I remember my family getting all upset over how many Star Wars toys there were for sale {in the wake of the movie, at the dawn of MOICHANDIZING! - Where the real money from the movie is made!}

The only two game related 'toys' I ever had were a small Super Mario, and one of those horrible little aluminum containers that look like that 'Toad' character.

Well... I don't remember have toys from video games... although seeing these pictures is disturbing... oh... and it's not just the video game toys that have that problem... I have never been able to find a decent Garfield stuff toy, or any other type of toy... well... except notebooks but those aren't toys...

Yeah, that Taki is gross.

I have a few of the smaller Mortal Kombat GI Joes. I didn't know they were GI Joes though. Goro looks particularly awful, as you can see on this page.
