Ever since video games started to hit the mainstream we’ve heard that our beloved hobby is one of the main factors contributing to violence in the world today.
Time after time, we are forced to listen to self-proclaimed ‘video game experts’ and psychologists drone on and on about how the guns and violence in modern video games are corrupting children and teaching them that it is rewarding to be angry and violent. I don’t know about you but I find it extremely annoying and almost painful to listen to, especially considering all the inaccuracies involved.
First, take a look at the video below. It’s taken off a UK chat show a few weeks back and shows two “experts” completely brainwashing the studio audience, all while making somebody in the video game industry look pathetic.
