OUT OF THIS WORLD
We've all dreamed of alternate worlds where crazy, bizarre stuff happens. Well just imagine you've been transported to an alternate universe due to a freak lab accident. Well that's what happened to the game's main protagonist; Lester Knight Chaykin.
In a flash, a bolt of lightning hits his lab while he's working on an experiment, and he's transported to another world, he must now find a way to get back to where he belongs.
Out of This World is a crazy awesome game, the graphics are pretty good, the sound is...meh, the difficulty is PUNISHING, especially if you're a first time player but thank God for the password feature and unlimited lives, now you're thinking; "Unlimited Lives? Password feature? This game should be a piece of cake right?" HA HA NO!!!!! In this game the first thing you should be prepared for is death, because you will die...A LOT! Out of this World is basically trial and error, So say you're in a room and you have two paths to take, the path on the right and the path on the left and you choose the right, BANG a guard kills you, you start back from which path you wanted to take, then you take the path on the left and you're safe, ah good ol' trial and error!
Next I'll talk about the sound...boy is it pretty dull, I mean the music is cool during the action sequences but the sound is sub par, I mean during one part of the gameYour alien friend Buddy is fighting off a guard and the punches they both throw sound like me pressing the safety button on a bottle cap off of a glass bottle of Snapple
Now the graphics... honestly, really good. They're smooth, they're stylish they're really good, they're not really pixelated, they're more like something drawn out of MS Paint
Last but not least, the replay value; it's very high, This game reminds me so much of Dragon's Lair (THE ARCADE VERSION!!!) It's all trial and error and once you beat it, you know everything, every room, every guard location, EVERYTHING! Then you could just pretty much show off to everyone.
Overall I give Out of This World a 4/5 It's phenomenal, the graphics are great, the sound is..meh, the cutscenes are EPIC and the degree of difficulty is punishing but like I said a million and one times before; TRIAL AND ERROR!!!
