Like I said I'm not a big fan of the art style but I'd really like to find a game to play with RU people. I still like Ikariam but that's not for everyone. A free MMO with a community is a better option to get more of us involved, imo.

I said the thing about three classes because that's all I saw on the video Tails posted. Good to hear there's more.
Even with just three I'd be happy as long as you can customize. If it's cookie cutter BS I'll be bored.

I'll check it out today or tomorrow. Post here with any pros and cons in the meantime so I can check before I d/l.

Quick list.

Pros
It's bright and colorful, nothing seems bland.

It's very simple and easy to start off. It's not the kind of game that takes an hour to get used to or to hit level 5.

Getting and completing quests isn't too much of a hassle, if you don't know what to do you can just look at the map or quest log and you'll be told what you have to do or start going directly to where you need.

Cons
The camera and movement controls are a little imprecise. If you move the camera with the keyboard while you're moving you stop in place, even if you're running to an enemy. It's not a big setback, but it's a nuisance that gets you every five minutes. Trying to walk right next to an NPC can be a little frustrating.

There's not really a lot of options appearance wise.

If you want perspective on things, you really have to explore around a little.(could be seen as a good thing)

Eh. It's easy to get passed. Eventually it just feels like a regular RPG, not unlike Morowind or Oblivion. Well, minus the creepy stuff.

Recently I picked up CoD:WaW for the Wii. It's not even funny anymore, I use the knife and pistol alone and can get the kill limit before the match is half-way over. Maybe I should get a life. :disdain:

Not to derail the topic but how is the multiplayer for that game on Wii? Do you notice lag, is there game lobbies, how many people online, ect?

Game lobbies are random, you don't get to pick if you're hosting a server or not, it's all decided by the networks. Lag is really only likely if you play in a basement. There are always eight players per game, and they come in pretty fast once you have allowed minimal number of players, being picked by machines and whatnot, so I can't tell.

You can set up private servers, in which you can make rules very specific.

@DN- that sounds a lot like the Xbox versions. How many play modes can you choose from? Sucks you're limited to 8 players, MW2 goes up to 18 I think.

Soulmates are more a perm thing. Not only does having a s/m give you extra abilities, you also gain experience when your s/m does if your offline at the time. I think there's a drawback though.

Yeah I think so too but it's actually a fun game once you get into it. It has a skill tree similar to Diablo but less restricted. Also Tenser, DN and I play it now, do you need a better reason than that? Tails plays too but he's been having trouble staying logged in.

Btw I thought it was funny when the game filtered out "bitches", my text came out as "I will use appropriate language". :lol:

I might have been in as my other character. Being a fighter is incredibly easy compared to being a wizard.

It might just be that I'm actually using my regeants in that character though...

I used a ton of regents and made like 350 magic potions(or whatever this game calls them). This helps a lot but now my character can barely pick anything without being weighed down.
Also I got a pet, Catbro. I'll take a screenshot soon if I remember. He gives my character a bonus to Int so I think he's pretty awesome.

You know the pets give you stats right? Not sure what character you use the wolf on but he gives stamina. I use the patchcat because he boosts my int and I'm a mage.

I know what you mean about hungry. The hunger is just a timer that ticks down whenever they're active. I made the mistake of leaving the game running unattended and I lost an entire hunger bar in town. Also I ended up accidentally starving my pet. I ran out of food and I figured it would just desummon. I was wrong, it starves and you have to make a potion to cure it. :(

Btw has anyone been to that zone with the chess pieces? I have several quests there but I can't kill the enemies solo because they respawn fast and gang up on me. Also I can't see the floor at all, is it supposed to be that dark?

It looks like most pets offer minimal support, no point buying so much overpriced-food if there's not a whole lot of benefit.

The chess place is supposed to be dark, and I think you have to be in a group if you want to get past that while under level 30 and without using some kind of gimmick.

Now I'm really getting into this, I can craft all kinds of stuff now and it's much better than buying them at worse statistics. Unfortunately I don't know how I'll come up with the money to compensate for the crafting cost of the next rank of equipment.

I decided to try the queens palace again solo and I made it about halfway through by myself. Eventually some random spanish guy told me to follow him and he helped me kill all the bosses up until he died near the end. I tried to fight the leader but she wrecked me. We need to meet up and steamroll that place so I can stop dieing there.

It is a lot of pots to carry and I did stash more than half. I only made them because I had so many materials and like 200k with nothing to spend it on. I only recently figured out that you can desynth gear, I was just selling it. Can you sell the sowels? If so I couldn't figure out how. I have quite a few of them just taking up space.

Just finished playing for tonight, I feel so close to crafting items that are practically god-like.

I spent two hours last night shoveling for sand. I still have about an hour more to do. I did pick up some rares while shoveling so it wasn't too bad (3 trade coins, 2 monster seeds, 2 revival scrolls, and a soul stone).

I caught the St Patricks event last night and got x3 exp for an hour. Then I saw that people were talking about switching channels to get it more than once, so I did. I ended up getting x3 like 3-4 times before I had to log off. It was a good boost of exp.

Also I went through all my money crafting. Now I just need to do some quests to make more gold. The only problem is I'm still logjammed on the Queens Palace part. If anyone wants to duo it let me know.

Btw let's list any and all characters we have so I can update the first post. I already know Merric=Tails, Tenser=Tenser and McKeffs=DN. What else? Also what crafts are you guys leveling?

In the first post under the video is a link to get the game. Just go there and follow the steps. It might take a little while to download depending on your setup. I forget atm but I don't think it's too huge of a game really.
Once it's downloaded you can start it up and make a character. There's only one server so no worries there. Once you're online and made a character post the name here so we can try to meet up in game.

The game itself is pretty easy to be honest. The first 10 or so levels are a cakewalk if you understand these kind of games(tons of quests for exp). Just fight stuff slightly higher level for good exp. Don't fight stuff too high or it will pwn you and you go back to town.

I'm not sure why that happened with your download. Was it 100% done when your PC crashed? Maybe the end of the installation crashed and your PC shutdown automatically. In that case you'll probably have to delete anything you might've downloaded and start the d/l again. I could be wrong but that's what I know of it.

The name of the file should be gamecampus I think. I don't have it on this PC so I can't check.

I heard of EVE but I never tried it. I always wanted to but I was paying for FFXI at the time and I didn't wanna pay for two MMORPGs. It seems like an awesome game and I regret missing out on it's prime.

Oh it was a wonderful game. I'd still suggest giving it a go. Unlimited hours of gameplay. Suberb gaphics.

Oh yeah , see I played before the expansion. I'm a Huge SW fan. Even read multiple books from fans.But yeah it was definetely Galaxies.
But both EVE and SW Galaxies were awesome. I guess I'm gonna have to re download ASDA though. I cant fine it anywhere on here.
