Im hoping its a stud^^ Finally back to its roots.. Im hoiping shadow is in it, since he is always an interesting contrast to goody two shoes Sonic.
tails ofcourse HAs to be there.. I mean whats a sonic game without some Tails? Since its in episodes.. Im not sure what to think about that bit of info.. I mean.. Id rather get a huge game instead of multiple little games..

However if an episode is a different character each.. Then that coudl be cool. Over all.. gonna have to wait and see^^.

It takes place after Sonic and Knuckles. So only Tails, Knuckles, Metal Sonic, and Eggman have been introduced so far.

Totally excited for it! With the awesome game play that stays true to the original form like in The New Super Mario Bros. game, I have no doubt that this game will be great as well!

Pretty much. The only good games Sega ever made were the Sonic 1-Knuckles series. The rest was crap.

I think it'll be good if you like old sonic games. Kind of like the new Mega Man game. Do you like Sonic 2? Word? Well what if we made a game like Sonic 2 for your XBOX?!?!?! WOOOAAAHHHH.

I think the success of this title depends on the price. I can't imagine I would pay 10 bucks for this. If it were 8 I would probably be in.

they were 2d.. Like most people view the castlevania series.. the Sonic series is best seen and best played in 2d. With the exception of the first adventure game.. dam near all the 3d games have had bad reviews. I personally liked all the 3d games^^ teh Sonic advance games were what the majority of players wanted.. 2d sidescrolling platformers.

Personally all that worries me is that its an episode based release.. where instead of getting a whole game.. you get multiple parts as they coem out.. Which irritates me. the only excuse is if ech game is for a new character. Like the first is for sonic, the second is for tails.. and etc. Still irritating in my book... but as so many say.. its all about the money.. -sigh- Least its gonna be for all consoles..


Oh and that video above? thats obviously not sonic 4.. thats sonic Megamix. Or atelast its updated version. I know because of the B-b-b boss time messege, and its game play. It comes with Tails, Shadow, knuckles, and mighty game play. Its update is a sonic cd type game.. so it wont work here..

Go ahead, a little doubt is healthy. If no one doubted, we'd all agree and that would be ruinous. I'm pretty sure all the consoles are getting Sonic 4 and it'll cost a bit differently.

secret rings was a 3d sort of rails runner.but bottom line you could go forward, backward, left and right. I considered it a 3d game. With some 2d like segmants.

Yes, then you had Sonic Adventure and Adventure 2 Battle, 3d games that didn't do too badly in the face of past flops. Still, Sonic 4 should be good. Sega will not find too many hostile to the game. Sonic history has always been up and down, even seeing Sonic make Brawl's lineup.

Sales figures for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis console are disputed, but current estimates put a range of 30-40 million units.

The Nintendo DS platform has sold over triple that amount, over 120 million units. With so many consumers Sonic Rush has an advantage in sheer volume of production.

Sonic and the Secret Rings....like Tails I'm going to doubt, it does not seem like a very popular title, and I don't know if it is still in production.

Sonics 1-3+k are still the highest ranking games out there really.. Belmontzar has a point, the Genesis titles have been remade and rereleased for many platforms and online stores, and it will probably stay that way forever.

I saw that in Nintendo Power and I was like "Nooooooooooooooo" because I know I will succumb to temptation and buy it for portable Sonic gaming even though I have Sonic Mega Collection for my Gamecube*.

specificaly.. 2d genesis, game gear, and adventure one tails.. the later games.. not os much.. but they had shadow so it was all good lol.

Oh frip it.. RED is awesome cause hes a Boss fight in Silver/gold/crystal. In my book, thats HIM. Especially since I have been reading the comics when I can. I just want a wII pokemon game thats not a stupid add on game.. just a big azz console pokemon game. That would be awesome.

Tails - The quiet one, very loyal friend to the hero
Knuckles - the rebel - the cool one

That game looks cool though, Like the good days of gaaming.
Hopefully it will concentrate on the game rather than the graphics like the past few sonics

That's awesome. Funny you should mention that. Sonic not only has his own game series. but there are also comics out there. They're not as cool as the games, primarily because they tend to go too far into the minds of the characters. Case in point: the argument between Sonic and Tails in one of the rare storylines set in the future.

Fixed. I only owned the first Advance game, and there was definitely no voice acting.

I'm really excited for this game, and I doubt that with the way they're promoting it to be a continuation of the Genesis series that it will have voice acting. But, I guess I shouldn't put anything past the Sonic Team either :P
