Saving your progress

I've been playing the hack version of pokemon red, and sometimes it saves my progress, but most of the time now it does'nt seem too!!!!!!!!! What can be done about it or what can i do about it ,because it seems to be pretty pointless to me to katch'em all and i can't keep them you know what i mean!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pleeze help!!!!!!!

AOX or Java?

In GameBoy you can save only in ArcadeOX Full Mode and Java Full Mode. For arcadeox right click the game and Java double click to access the menu.

In Java you can only back up the internal battery save, not a real save state. That means if the game did not originally support saves then you can not create a save in Java mode. In Java you first have to make a save in the game the same as you would on a real Game Boy and then back that save up to the server through the double click menu.

If you are still having trouble post the game and mode you are using.
