In this first stage we will nominate people to vote on.

- If it's a contest of someone who is dedicated to the team, I think the award has to go to the guy who keeps playing in the contest even while on his Honeymoon. That is absolutely EPIC Smitty!

- I think the award here has to go to the guys who are so active in the arcade that people (you know who you are) post public messages crying about how these people are out to get them and take their trophies (I guess I was on that list too, but whatever). There can't be much more proof than that. That is a Trophy Thief!

Biggest impact - Impact-wise? I'd say either Dudebro, Tenser, Gamenguru or WinneBagel. Dudebro is there just to talk to when you have questions (thanks man :)), Tenser is there not only providing the best library of NES games, but has been here and fixed the site up since the start. The Bagel Bros. because of their work as mods and donations to the site, wither it's money or time.

Best Gamer - Winnebagel; It's why I like to challenge him in DOTC, he's a great guy to just play against.

Best Poster - Ninjatiamat, Tenser, Winnebagel; Chris don't post much, but when he does he's usually insightful, witty, and don't forget Mr. Sparkle~ Tenser is just a crack up with any of his posts, especially when him and Dudebro talk. About bagel.. all I can say is "The Princess is in another castle" :P

Best Mod - Winnebagel - Not only set up Atari Lynx scores but is always on top of approving scores and on the look out for cheaters. Site mod would be hard to choose since I like all 3 in different ways.

Best Poster - WB. Besides being funny he seems to post in almost every topic, I can respect that kind of dedication.

Best Mod - Tenser. No offense to sabby and the game mods.

Most Improved - Davidman45 and JG. Both had rocky starts but managed to become valuable members of the site.

Funniest - Another tough one. I'd have to go with WB on this one just because of the amount of effort he seems to put into his jokes. JG is a close second.

Good riddance - Somedude for sure. Others were annoying but this kid was just a failure on many levels.

Best Team Player - I was going to give this to Kong but I feel he's more of a one man army kind of gamer, no offense to the Mega Men. I'll have to give this to Tenser. Also no offense to the rest of my GOM friends.

Best Mod - All the mods do a lot behind the scenes. I will point out a few of these. Tenser is the tough love mod that delivers the painful truth when it needs delivering. Winnebagel, Gameguru and Oasis have spent countless hours updating info on the games. Dudebro is everywhere, including every post on the site. All of the mods have spent at least a couple hours laboring on the site for free just so they can help contribute. Some of them have spent thousands of hours. Even if they had just spent minutes they would still deserve enormous amounts of gratitude.

From Tenser's sarcastic retorts and hammer dropping (when needed), to Dudebro's (and Tails') constant efforts to keep the board alive with interesting topics (and DB's levelheadedness in general), and Tails strong desire to keep things fair for everyone (as a game mod). These guys deserve props.

Any other time, I would have nominated Tails as well because he is an awesome gamer too, but he kind of disappeared in 2009, so he wasn't able to do as much in the game area last year. It's not a negative by any means. He along with some other people will probably make the list for 2010 when the time comes.

I've been trying to use my PC a lot more, since the wii keyboard is so annoying, but no. On the wii, it's completely different, I can type faster on the wii than I did when I first started, but the amount of times that I hit 'backspace' sucks. As for a regular keyboard, when I first joined EVG. I had to look at the keyboard buttons all the time, and type with 2 fingers. Now it's around 7 fingers and I usually don't have to look at the keys. Forums have helped. Much more so than those PC typing lessons at school, lol.
