Finally posted eh DS? :P

I like the Wii the most. I'm not too fond of the titles on the 360, not into stuff like Halo. Plus you can't go wrong with the Wii since it has fun multiplayer games like Brawl and Kart.

I prefer Wii, but it would help if you told us what you were looking for.

The Wii has great potential, but right now they haven't really utilized it. I'd give the Wii another year or two to stop targeting families who don't buy many games and start marketing to gamers who go out and purchase new titles. After that it probably won't be able to boom as much. Nintendo makes much more money than the third parties when compared to the ratio of companies like Sony and Xbox, but the things they have now I consider it worth the buy, but probably will get much better later on.

The Xbox I feel has good potential, but is making better use of it right now. A lot of games on the 360 are very great and enjoyable, but I never feel like the games branch apart with deversity. This probably is because the control is not as exciting and flexable as the wii. I never liked that and it has always steered me a little away. It's an awsome console with a great library of games.

So, if you want something thats fun and exciting, pick up the Xbox, if you want something more flexable, diverse, and inventive, pick up the Wii.

wii gets my vote, a few downloads and you can run emmulators up the ying yang. plus theres some real fun games . if you want to play online with all that leaderboard, stuff and unlock achievments, then 360 is the way to go.

Wii is the choice to make if you're looking for exclusive titles. 360 for online gaming.

This year's exclusive titles that got rated 7.5 or higher:
Wii - 36
360 - 6

Not saying the 360 is bad, but if you have a PS3 and/or a gaming quality PC then you might want more diversity.

Xbox has an actual online service, but you have to pay for it. Wii barely has an online service and it's free. Xbox has tons of awesome games meant for an older crowd(and no they're not all Halo clones). Wii has a good amount of games but imo most aren't worth buying, the ones that are usually have Mario in the title.

Plus you can't go wrong with the Wii since it has fun multiplayer games like Brawl and Kart
Ok that's two games. The 360 has countless racing games, many of which are awesome. The 360 also has many fighting games, they are also awesome. Despite what most people think the xbox is not just a FPS system.

Brawl and Kart are fun but that's only two games. Are people playing any other games online?

Either way it's not a fair comparison. Both systems do their own thing and do it well.
Like DN said we'd need to know what you're into before we can help you.

Tenser- What are those exclusives? Personally I think that's a stupid thing to consider unless those are the only games your into. Systems that rely on exclusives are showing their desperation imo. Xbox doesn't need them.

Btw did you even look the list? Some of those games are more like expansions and some are just garbage. Critic reviews aren't worth much, I disagree with almost everyone I read.

Sorry I realize the last part of my comment is misleading. I'm not claiming to know personally I was making a general statement about critic reviews. I needed a paragraph.

I own the new Mario Bros game it's awesome. Some of the others on the list look cool(like the Tap game) but some are just stupid to count as good games, WiiFitPlus? That's literally the same game with more excercises.

Btw garbage is too strong, some just look like I'd hate them.

I did. I own or plan on owning quite a few titles on Wii's exclussive list. I think you're waiving it off too easily. Did you look at 360's list? Out of the 6, 2 were Halos and one was a singing game.

All I'm saying is why buy a 360 if you already have access to most of its games?

I read the "Boy and his Blob" remake review, and saw something peculiar.

famous programmer David Crane, the brainchild of the Pitfall series
I don't know if my definition of brain child is off, but I'm pretty sure David Crane made Pitfall, Pitfall didn't make David Crane.

But I thought more than a few games up their sounded good.

Well for one thing most good games on 360 will not be good on the Wii. It's just not possible to port most them without ruining it. That does mean you could just buy a ps3 but then again it's online service isn't as good as 360 and xbox has a lot of strong titles(not all fps).

Either way we're just jerking our chains here until he tells us what kind of games he's into.

OldTimer

I agree the porting sucks on the wii compared to the other two. And for the 'exclusive titles' for the wii, alot of these titles aren't geared towards my tastes. Until you have honestly tried the live service with the xbox. There is no comparison.

In the end it depends on the games and sevice you want.

See Doodbro, I don't like 90% of Xbox games. I like platformers and didn't know I would have to list everything I like just to please you. :P

I like cartoony/anime things. You know this by now I hope. The Wii has way more cartoony/anime stuff than other things. So a Mario racing game to a game like just cars, I'd go for Mario cuz that's what I like. If I felt like going through the list on games I like for the Wii, I would, but sadly I'm lazy and feel you should know better.

No I agree you're perfect for the Wii and I don't mean that as an insult. I do feel bad you will be missing out on all the good 360 games. It's not a problem for me, I have both systems anyways.;)

What's so good game-wise for 360? Besides Reshelled? Keep in mind crap like Halo and CoD don't interest me. I don't like shooters.

Dudebro

Like you said you're not really into most 360 games so your opinion will be different than mine. One great game I'm playing atm is Dragon Age Origins. It's a gritty rpg that focuses on the story over the fighting, a great change of pace from most rpgs nowdays. Similar to that is Mass Effect(same company), another that focuses on story over 1337 explosions and stuff.
The only other game I'm playing atm is Tekken6 but that's also on PS3 so it's hard to count it for xbox.

Besides RPGs most games have some form of FPS. Stuff like Fallout3, Borderlands, Left for Dead. They aren't typical FPS but they are of that style, fallout is mainly rpg though.

Tails

Yeah, I don't like that stuff, I like RPG's like Fire Emblem and Disgaea.

Why I am considering on getting a PS3.

Thnkz for all the thoughts guyz =D they really helped
But now that i think about it, i alredy own a PS3, and the game list on the Xbox360 its practily the same as the one on PS3 right ? ( i havent payed attention to xbox titles recently xP )
So probably i will go with the Wii, since i really like nintendos exclusives like mario, zelda and pokemon :P

Kugyince

If you already own a PS3, I really think that's the way to go. If I wanted to buy another console it would be the PS3. Blu Ray player with free online support, coupled with the fact that 90% of Xbox games that aren't on the PS3 I could just play on my PC would mean the Xbox would be a waste for me.

As for the Wii exclusive list of '09 releases, I own MadWorld and Cursed Mountain. I would like to own Marumasa, Punch-Out, and Excitebots.

@Tails: Check out Marumasa when you have time. Japanese styled 2D platformer beat-em-up.

You're not helping our side of this my friend:) I agree with you though, sometimes I don't want to wave my controller around to do stuff, I like pushing buttons.

@MJ: The only time I've ever had to stand up to play the Wii was for bowling. Again, he owns a PS3 already so there's really no point in owning an 360 as well.
