Baraduke is a game I just can't stand since it's release in 1997 with "Namco Museum Volume 5" for the PlayStation.
GRAPHICS: 5
Using the Pac-Land hardware, it really shows pretty good graphics even better than the best graphics shown in the NES and SMS. One of the best 8-bit graphics seen on arcade.
SOUND: 3 (actually 2.5)
Sadly, Baraduke has no music...but, it has some decent sound effects. I personally like when the alien boss dies....it sounds cool.
REPLAY VALUE: 5
Baraduke is just one of these games you can't stop playing no matter, since many people I assume can't get past the 4th stage (Rounds 19-24, without Round Select), that's as far as I can go. Besides that, it's well worth it.
CHALLENGE: 5 (EXCESS 5!)
Baraduke is one of the hardest sidescrolling shooters I've ever played in my life.
It's somewhat challenging hard...however, Baraduke is not without it's cheapness...
you got no recovery time between hits making it possible to die in 1 when you get 3 hits at the same time...why can't you at least start with 3 hits instead of 2.
I really got more...but I don't wanna bore you...
OVERALL: 4
In conclusion, if you get pass the cheapness of Baraduke, it's a pretty good shooter...and if you really find it in real life, I recommended it.
