Okay, I noticed this General forum seem to have a lot of computer and game talk =| So tell me, how old is everyone here? Also, what bands do you guys listen to?

I'm 28, so I actually played most of these games when they came out=} Not sure if thats something to be proud of.
I usually listen to alot of different music, Nothing specific. Jonny Cash is cool, Tupac too. Guess thats a good range right?

Ah, I don't listen to either of them =x For me, i'm very much into A Perfect Circle, The Used, My Chemical Romance, NIN and other bands along that genre.

NIN is cool, I don't like those other bands much though, seems kinda like emo music IMO but I dunno. I guess what I was trying to say is I don't like any certain style of music, I go on a song by song basis.

My parents told me that when I was 1 or so and we had moved over to where we're living now, before we had our house (living with Mom's parents), they would play Zelda (gold cartridge!) until quite a late hour. Mom would play in the morning and afternoon, then Dad would come home from work and they would both play until midnight and later. Then, after a few weeks of this, they looked at each other, realized what they were doing and stopped soon after.

I like a mixed bag, some Christian, some video game music, some classical, any style, game or artist is fine. For Christian stuff, I like dc Talk, POD, Relient K, and a few others. In video games, I like Nobuo Uematsu (most Square stuff), Civilization (it has a great mix of world music), F-Zero X, Black Mages, Stemage's Metroid Metal, SSH, and most of VGMusic and OC Remix. For classical, I especially like Baroque contrapuntal style.

I listen to just about anything once. But I mainly listen to band like Blink 182, Creed, Jimmy Eat World, Linkin Park, system of a down, and 30 seconds to mars. I also listen to a lot of country since it is the only radio stations I pick up where I am at.

Hey fellas, lady fellas. Well, uh...I'm 13(for real) and I played a lot of these games because my parents didn't buy me new systems until 1998 or so and by then I was already hooked on the old games having played them every single moment I can think of. I played Genesis and NES at my next door cousin's house (no joke) where they would baby sit me everyday until three when my dad got home. My mom's a nurse and she intro'd me to video games on the NES which she had since '85. My dad shaped my musical taste and I also like A-ha's Take Me On and alot of other 80's new wave stuff. I like basically all music from the 60's to the 90's. I think that music today is to rap infested, I think rap's okay but when I compare it to stuff my dad makes me listen to, I just don't like it that much. And I also like...please don't hate me or flame me... Some of Michael Jackson's stuff but I'm from the Philippines (raised in the US though) and his music's still pretty popular there. I tend to listen to the music and don't really give a crap about what the artist is doing. Music is music and if it sounds good, it sounds good. Well thanks for reading and sorry the message is to long.

lol. I totally love Michael Jackson's older stuff. I hate what he's done to his face, but his music is still brilliant. The Way You Make Me Feel is one of my favorites.
