Sorry but you guys are all wrong. It's Prince Edward obviously. He was a wuss and his only real "special move" was run away(not the cool kind where everyone escapes, just him). Also his weapon is a harp. He was useless and annoying.

Glass Joe was brave enough to stand there and fight. He might suck hard at boxing but he never ran away.

I'm saddened by the lack of Luigi love. He may be the wimpy brother but he had courage when mario needed him. Compared to Prince Edward, Luigi is a mighty warrior.
