I keep getting the error "RTHDCPL.EXE - Illegal System DLL Relocation" when I first log in to my windows account. It says The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not run properly. The relocation occured because the DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\HHCRTL.OCX occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL
On some sites it said I should remove it but why? I always had it there can anybody help me with this? Its getting annoying....
Caused by conflicting files installed from Windows Update.
Install this patch
Download details: Update for Windows XP (KB935448) (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=74AD4188-3131-429C-8FCB-F7B3B0FD3D86&displaylang=en)
RTHDCPL.EXE is a program that sits in your sys trey by the clock. It adds some extra features to your sound card like an equalizer that lets you mimic sounds in stadiums, caves or churches. More of a gimmicky thing that is fun to play with once but not needed to run every time Windows starts.
