Crystalis was great, but there were too many excellent games from this era to choose from.

why do you like crystalis so much outta curiosity, i agree its an absolutly fantastic game, but im a little suprised to see it in the options

I voted Crystalis and SMW. Nothing else was that significant of a game if you ask me.

FF II did for the RPG what Super Maro Bros. 3 did for the platformer. Actually had a somewhat compelling story, in-depth character development for its time, and an RPG battle-system that is still being copied today. Great game and it got my vote.

I probably got more enjoyment out of Crystalis, though. Interesting mix of RPG and action and probably set the stage for games like Secret of Mana.

I agree that its a let down that Guardian Legend isnt on here! If voting was still open i would have chosen Battletoads, Super Mario World and Mega Man 3:D

I'm glad you bumped this since my info about Guardian Legend is out of date. It is now score enabled.
