Different storyline, eerie cut scenes, random sound clips of agony and pain, random and creative corpses.

For example, you're walking around, and then all of a sudden, you hear, "I'm not a bad person... I didn't do anything wrong..." and you turn around, and there's a puritan there, with a snapped neck and a noose around his neck, rocking back and forth on the ground, bleeding out of his mouth and eyes.

I own 'Enter the Matrix' for Gamecube, and it is a bit of a disappointment.
The 'bullet time' effects are good, and there is an arrow pointing to the current objectives which keeps you on task, but...

The character's movements seem 'jerky' (climbing a ladder is hilarious), and I find the game environment unappealing and monotonous.
Martial arts techniques in the game are good and effective but it gets boring fast, in my opinion.

The coolest thing about it are the filmed-for-the-game cutscenes starring Naobi and Ghost (main characters in the game) which tie together the storylines of:

Matrix: Reloaded
The Animatrix: Last Flight of the Osiris
and this game.

it is my understanding that the matrix mmo didn't fail badly, it ran for 5 years and the server was finally closed in july of this year. i do know that it was not adverstised well at all, plus the competition from wow was just a lot better.
