Bit of a late reply here but better late than never (wow, 2009?) LOL.

I'm from the UK but recently moved to Norway. And yes, Dudebro, my first name is Damion. :)

Maybe he's so old school that he forgot how to spell school? You're still young you don't understand how easy it is to forget the small stuff.

Welcome back.
"Old Skool"? Seriously?

Thanks.

Thats right, "old skool".

Being from England and studying there for most of my life I think I have quite a firm grasp of the English language, I even know how some words are spelt (not spelled which is American English, not English) in the English ghettos (yes, we do have them). Hence "old skool", which is how a lot of people would spell it from my generation. Of course, It's said with tongue firmly in cheek and not supposed to be taken quite so "seriously".

Thanks for the heads up, though.

Oddly enough I only see young people spell it that way in an attempt to seem cool. Funny how similar but different our countries are.

Having a mastery of American English, and being raised in America, I've never seen someone older than twelve use the term "old skool", as spelling like that is how the younger crowd attempts to seem cool.

Quite an interesting insight though.
