I think it's about 50-60 to buy the game with all the expansions but it's also like 10-12$ a month. It's not for everyone, but you can play it on 360 and get achievements. :P

I pay 12$ a month for the PC version(360 version is kinda recent). I know it sucks to pay monthly but it's worth it to a lot of people.

It's hard to describe how a MMORPG is worth paying for. To me it's because I can log in whenever I want and there will be real players all over the place. It's the interaction I like. Always meeting new people and playing with friends I've known for years. That and it's Final Fantasy online ;)
