Becoming a full-time gamer at RU

For a month now, I thought about becoming a full-time gamer at RU. I've burned out on the GameCube, & I about played out all my DS games. With thousands of games on here, it was a temptation to hard to pass up. So, do any of you think I should?

P.S. A full-time gamer is a gamer who plays games for at least 5 or 6 hours a day.

i think that all of us are in our own way are full time gamers i think that this site is great but to play games for 5 to 6 hours tho every day is kinda hard for most but if you have the time and the passion for the older games then more power to ya on the full time gaming, theres definitely alot to choose from and nothing is better and more time consuming then the older games.

I expected a lot of people would say no, wanman. It tough enough for most people to be online for 5 or 6 hours a day live along bring a full-time gamer at RU. I thought about giving it a try; that's why I asked.

@ everyone: For the record, are there anyone here who are full-time RU gamers? If so, let me know. That may help my decision.

I don't think it's wise to mandate a time length for playing video games. Playing video games should be for fun and not to fullfil some goal. I use about 90% of my gaming time playing on RU.

Instead I would suggest using your gaming time to explore games that you have never played before. You'll discover a lot of great games that way. I find it rewarding to find a great game on my own.

i play on here all the time when i am not at work i am on the site with the games. so its as full time as i can give into the games.

5-6 hours on average??? Wow. How's your skin tone? ;)

I'll admit that I go on a R.U. "binge" from time to time and spend several hours a day on the site, but those instances are rare.

I own a Wii, but haven't touched it in probably 2 or 3 months. Right now, there's not many games out for it that interest me. That being said, the only gaming I do at the moment is on R.U.

I agree with Tenser, never set a time limit to your fun. Unless is to control your obsession. Like if you're playing a game for 5-6 hours you should take a break.

I mainly play 360 nowdays. I'm addicted to shadowrun.

well I agree with tenser like I most of the time do

but if your going to play games that long on this site you should ask kong if you can test games.

you would play a range of new games and you would be helping out the site at the same time
