I like it! Its the bastard child of LoZ and Ys.

Step 1: Run into an enemy, mash the attack button, gain some experience.
Step 2: Wander aimlessly looking for randomized treasure.
Step 3: Move on to the next dungeon and repeat.

An adventure game I haven't played. Got graph paper for making maps. I'm a happy camper. ;D

this game is fun

but I desided since I could not find any game genie codes I would make some my self

so here is the first code I have ever made from scratch

inf health as long as the damage does not exceed your current hp
SZOEGXSE

you start out with 10hp and as long as the bad guys dont cause more than 10 hp damage in 1 hit you will not loose hp
(works for all classes)

How did you make it Oasis?

mostly trial and error but I got most of the information from this site http://www.angelfire.com/games2/codehut/DebuggerGGcodes.txt

downloaded the emulator fceux (which is more advanced than the one in the guide) and applied what he said then practiced on my own to see what I could come up with

the main problem I had was finding the correct address so I learned how to use the cheat search in fceux and applied that to the debugger to get the code.

I am still learning but I am getting the hang of it.

the main problem I am having is figuring out how to due 2 part codes like code+code

Meh. Seems like it takes away every shred of challenge away. Isn't that part of the fun? I like running into little things and smashing xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx without knowing if I'm going to die or not. Death is the bluntest suggestion that you should do some leveling up. You know the faster you press X the more attacks you'll get per turn right?

I did find a couple of guides on gamefaqs that helped me learn the controls and decide what class I wanted to be and what the spells did.

I agree with you tenser that code would take away the fun ;D

but like I said it was my first code I made so I figured it appropriate to start with the easiest to make.

mainly I want a inf gold code but have not found a shop yet.

side note if you walk to the right out of the main castle area and avoid the enemys to the right there is a sword that is stronger than the one you are sapposed to start with.

also I found that if you dont move the enemies dont move

The sword is nice to know about. I did know that the enemies wont move unless you take an action like walking or attacking. Its kind of like a turn-based adventure.

what class are you playing? I'm playing the warrior class, Minos.

currently I am playing the warrior class I find its always best when first starting out choose brute strength

playing at this normal speed takes for ever to get anywhere because he walks so slow

There's a Ring of Speed that lets him move twice as fast. So far I've just started, I tend to play new games slowly, especially adventures. I did manage to find the Hero Ring, and 2 Scrolls the king asked for and I found the Red Key. I just exited the castle to pawn off all my loot then go back in to explore what was behind those red doors. 8 Scrolls left to go. I've noticed I haven't had to grind at all yet and my levels are going up as I need them to. Very nice experience calculations the programmers did thus far.

Level 4 Minos
Feather Sword
Clothes +2
Shield +0
Hero Ring[br]Posted on: September 19, 2008, 07:51:17 PM________________________________________________ _Correction: I'm level 5, not 4.

Also, friendly advice, don't leave the dungeon until you're ready to as the guards wont let you back in.

The guy sitting to the left of the king will hold your scrolls for you so they don't take up space in your inventory.
