Caught Looking

[Kugyince]

Concept: By searching through the Who's Online list you can see what other members are doing. The goal is to catch other members also looking at the list.

Every player who signs up will start off with three points. If you catch another player looking at the list you will receive one point and the person caught will lose one point. If your point total reaches zero you are out of the contest. The first person to reach six points wins and receives 5,000 points.

To prove you caught someone looking simply use the print screen button and do a quick paste/save in paint. Then post the picture in this thread. Do not edit the picture in any way as all open tabs and windows must be shown in the picture for it to count.

A few easy rules:
No one playing can use the hide feature.
When you go to the list, that must be the only tab and/or window you have RU on.

Perhaps we can add one more wrinkle to this game: I'd suggest that in addition to catching someone looking at Who's Online, we also get a point for catching someone looking at this thread.

I saw Timberwolf viewing "Caught Looking" yesterday and I got so excited, I took a screenshot thinking I'd scored the first point!

There must be a lag on this website. If you look at the times that Tenser and Tails just posted they caught me at the EXACT same time. I highly doubt thats possible.

Furthermore, if you look at my first "catch" of Tails, the time is the same as Tenser's first "catch". I know for a fact that I went to the who's online page AFTER seeing tenser caught Tails.

I think Tenser's onto something. Perhaps we only allow one negative point for each Time Stamp (regardless of who catches).

What's the official scorekeeper say?

The time stamp shows the time you loaded that page and not the current time.

Example: I could view the page a 7:45:32 and stay on that page for 2 hours without moving. Tails goes on 8 mins after I loaded the page and catches me. If I still don't leave that page and tanc comes on 12 mins later he'll catch me still showing the same time stamp.

The new rule is this: Both you and the person you "caught looking" must both be visible in the shot.
