So, Favre wants to come back to the NFL, but not as a Packer but a Viking. Personally I think his antics for the last years are stupid, sayign he quits and then returns. Not to mention now he wants to leave the Packers for the Vikings. I think he should just quit and have some dignity, hes acting like a child not getting his way.

Don't you think its stupid for him to say hes gonna quit? i mean i know if i said something about gonna quit something, i would have to live with my word that i quit, but Favre can just prance around the NFL and do what he pleases?

Yeah, I don't like that he can't make up his mind. If there's a team that will pay him then yeah he should go for it, but he shouldn't sit there, and complain because he's not getting his way.

what he is doing is pretty much the same as what Michael Jordan did,and not to mention country singer Garth Brooks, both went into retirement and then came back out and went back into retirement again. so basically he should just do as he wants and if he wants to play then that is his choice, if its for the packers more power to him and if another team then its his right that way as well..

I just can't bring myself to care if some overpaid jock wants to be a crybaby about his overpaid job. Some people have real problems. I hope he comes back to the NFL then gets some injury that keeps him from playing. Not like it will hurt him, you know since he's a multimillionare.

Wow! I wanted to start this topic for sometime, but thought it might be a bad idea. I heard someone on TV say not long ago that Farve quit on his team, and I agree with him. Farve in the last few off-seasons likes to take his time when deciding whether to play the next season or not, and I don't mind that. It's his right. But to retire and then make his comeback during this off-season? I don't call it retirement. To me, he's just using it to run away from the pressure people puts on him to make his choice. And when he heard that Aaron Rogers (his back-up) was going to be the starting quarterback, he decided to make his "comeback" right there to keep Rogers from starting. A multi-millionaire player with a multi-millionaire ego. I don't mind him "returning" as long as he ends up with another team. I was a huge fan of Brett Farve, but not anymore.

Trust me, just post what you want here, its not like anyone will say your stupid and laugh at the topic. If they do (HeroofTime for example) a mod will definitely put them in their place. Yeah he did quit on his team, but who else would be sore when they had the best year of their life in the NFL after playing 17 years and then getting picked off in the Finals of the play offs? But it still does not give him a right to do it. The last few seasons he made a big deal about it like this one, thats what I don't like but I liked his style in football. Just because Rodgers got to play Favre got mad and tried to steal this kid's light. I mean, Rodgers would be the first Quarterback starter since 1992 to play for Green Bay, kinda a huge honor. I liked Favre as well, but hes really made me mad. I hope he gets sent to the Raiders (No offence Sabby) or Dolphins! xD
