The Ikariam topic started as a browser game topic but because of Ikariams surprising popularity everything else got ignored, so here we are.

Let's use this topic for FREE browser games that our members have played and would recommend others try. I capitalized free because if you gotta pay for it then most people won't even consider it. I underlined 'played' because if you haven't personally tried it then how can you recommend it?
Also try to stay on topic please, feel free to discuss the games in this topic all you want just limit other stuff as much as possible.

Billy vs Snakeman Jeckel posted about it and some of us signed up.

Click that link to sign up. I've been learning this game slowly and it's not bad. I've yet to try to the arena since I don't fully understand the game yet but overall it seems worth trying. Even if you don't think you'd like it maybe just checking it every couple days and make some money(doing missions) and collecting resources(from the village menu) will appeal to you. If you sign up message Jeckel to enter the village.

It's a basic RPG style game with very limited graphics(on purpose). All the quests/missions/battles are laced with wierd humor and wit. You get adventures daily(to start you get 40) and use them in dungeons/town. Each turn costs one adventure. Eating food gives you different amounts of adventures as does drinking alcohol, although you do get drunk eventually and end up in a drunken stupor(making you get in random drunken encounters which almost always end badly). Also it has a PvP mode(I haven't tried it). Try this game. Now. Or I'll just have to ask again nicely.

I'm too tired at the moment to go through the other topics to find peoples Browser game suggestions. If you post them here with a small(or large!) description I'll include them. Remember make sure it's a good game. If I wanted all kinds of random ones I could just link to Wikipedias page(they list a huge amount of these).

Mume (mume.pvv.org) (http://mume.pvv.org)

mume wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MUME)

It is a online text based game that is based on the lord of the rings books. It is highly multiplayer (20-100 people online at 1 time)
it has player killing (you can kill other players/users) it has bosses and its extreamly addictive

I have not played in years but somethimes its really hard to play a text based game because you dont know where you are because you have to remember a bunch of rooms. But I know of a mapper that will give you a graphic interface of where you are and also a client you can download (not needed to play but makes it easier) so if you want to play want tips on how to play or just need help just ask I know almost everything about that game seeing as I played it for over 6 years.
