I have an old psp and I want to download ps1 games on it. I already got the emulator but I am having a hard time with the games now that emuparadise is no more (rip). I tried downloading from other websites such as freeroms, coolroms but my antivirus (Avira) does not allow me to finish the downloads, and I am not even sure how realible they are. Any suggestions? I even tried to disable some features of Avira but it didn't work. What is the best website to download ps1 games now that we've lost emuparadise and what would be the best way to do it? If you guys could keep it basic and give guidance step by step this computer-challenged gamer would appreciate.

Game on!

coolroms, romhustler are really good and super reliable. try disabling your antivirus completely while downloading the games and turn it back on once you're finished.

alternatively, you can use cdromance, which has all the officially released PS1 games that are on the PSN - they are in the eBoot format, which is what the format the PS1 games should be if you're trying to put them on normally.

But aside from all of that, do you have your PSP softmodded (software which has modified your PSP) or hardmodded (hardware which has modified your psp) to allow for homebrew stuff?
