But, its fixed, so hooray (I hope the people at Comcast didnt see the idiot part of the above XP)

Ugh I don’t like Comcast. But I must have them for internet because sure west does not supply my house. I tried to go with AT&T but they suck worse then Comcast I had internet slower than 56k I as going about 3k from what speed tests showed me and they wanted to charge me 60 bucks to come out and fix there wiring.

so I told them to screw off because you want to charge me to fix something you should fix and your customer service sucks put me on hold for 10 mins because I asked a simple question like can you get me the number to this department. Also I wanted there fastest service 6mbs but they could only get me 3mbs

I got phone company internet service and its great, in the last year it went out one for 4 hours.

I have mediacom. My internet works really well right now, but it likes to slow down to crawling speeds, sometimes just not work for an hour, and stall so that I have to reset my router. I haven't decided if I think the issue is my actual ISP or my router/modem. I am betting on the latter myself.
