Restoring "Factory Settings"

Is there any way to reset a game's settings? I have a game (Joust) that got something snagged, and now it goes to a RAM Test screen within a few seconds of the game starting.

It has something to do with the "Advance" option under Game Input, but any time I try to change it, it just adds to what is already there.

Is there any way just to reset all settings for the game?
