Howdy fellas,

My avatar is an edit of the Tempest logo I made in photoshop. Tempest was one of my favs back. To introduce myself... My name is Eric 'EzE' Liddell. I'm an old skool arcade rat from the 80s. I worked at a mall arcade called 'Fun n Games' during the 'golden age Of Arcades'. I had the keys to all the games and so my buddies and I would close the arcade after work and stay up all night drinkin beer and playing marathon 4 player Gauntlet. lol... good times... good times. So, I'll be poking around here knockin out some scores. first to fall was Joust, Joust2 and Star Trek. (I'm a big Trekkie too). More scores will fall soon! ehehehe EzE is here to take names and eat pie!!!!! blueberry =D

Right on, Fun N Games was a franchise owned by Edwards Debartolo in Vegas. He had several arcades in malls throughout the county. I worked at the one in the Mission Viejo mall in Southern California. Think 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High'. type of setting. Tokens were like mall currency. I traded them for everything... food, movies, bribe the security guard if we were in the arcade after the mall closed. ehehe. good times.

Thanks, I had heard about this site but never poked around. I mostly just u/l to MARP and TG. But cool to have another place to play the classics. Last game I played in the arcades was SFII turbo in the early 90s. After that my arcade closed and I stopped gaming for 20 years. Then KoK came out and I went to Funspot X to compete in the Defender/Stargate competition.. That sparked my return to classic gaming in 2008. Glad to be here.-Eric

Great to have you, Eric. I may as well have worked at an arcade in the 80s, because I was in them from opening til close. We had Aladdin's Castle here, and every mom and pop convenience store had at least 1 game. Great scores so far, looking forward to more.

Thanks! I'm dig'in this site. I use to go to Aladdin's Castle too. Great arcade(s) in malls. Every time I went to a new mall I always hoped they had a huge Sega Center or Aladins Castle if not a good ol Fun N Games. - Ez
