has anyone beaten the swordless challenge on LoZ (the first game)? i'm trying and failing.
if you don't know what the swordless challenge is you just don't pick up your sword at the first. and note i didn't make this up the challenge is almost as old as the game itself

I am about half way through the challenge my self. I just spent a bunch of time getting the blue ring big shield before I continue

i tried it once and gave up about halfway thru it never got into that challenge much..

Try the 3 heart challenge in LoZ: OoT. Name says it all. Beat the game with only 3 hearts. Your cant pick up the heart containers, or get 4 heart pieces (only 3, so you cant form another heart)

oh that master quest ;D the only thing I found difficult / really changed was the bomb plants on the wall. It took me forever to figure out that you can use your deku stick on fire to light them...

you may ask yourself then how did you get into the shop at the goron village the one that has the 2 bombs on the wall by the door. the simple answer is there is a bomb way way way down a hall way i would grab that and run as fast as i can then jump off the edge and then blow up right next to the door.
