Unless it's changed i believe once you bring the game up in score mode if you press shift+F2 it will give you the option to restart with mouse support. Though i could be remembering wrong as i haven't done it in a while.

I think it's Shift+F5 to toggle mouse support. Not sure how well it actually works with the golf games. Also, once you Shift+F5 to toggle on the mouse input, do ALT+Enter to go into Full Screen mode.
