Microsoft's was better. 360 games being hopefully playable natively on the Xbox One is exciting. Here's hoping CAVE will sign off on all their shooting games though.

Sony showed No Man's Sky for the third year in a row and rode hard on nostalgia for the rest. They shilled a Kickstarter when they could have easily funded it themselves. Almost all of the games they showed, including the FF7 remake and Shenmue 3, are coming for PC.
The only biggie was The Last Guardian, but it's like, 5 years later. Only FF15 (formerly FF13 Vs.) has been delayed longer than that, and they didn't show that at the show either.

Mario Maker DLC that lets you make levels from other franchises like Kirby and Yoshi.
Everything else they show is a known quantity in one form or another. Mario Maker, Yoshi, Amiibo, Xenoblade, Star Fox, Zelda, etc...

When Banjo Tooie was released for download on Xbox 360 the devs implemented the Stop n Swop that was originally planned for the N64 release (Nintendo said no), and the Perfect Dark 360 version was redone with better texture and framerate (see this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmBtHCnhaLM)). I'd guess they'd use those versions as a base.

It's sad too because the game doesn't even look all that bad. It's a Metroid spinoff. People are just butthurt because they aren't getting the Metroid Prime sequel they want so badly. I can understand the frustration but trying to stop the game from being made is childish and sad.

I think it's interesting, but no, I don't think many people care about the timelines. Each game can basically hold their old without really fitting into the timeline. They all have their own story that doesn't usually relate to the timeline. Every Zelda game has the same plot anyway.
