I'm not trying to defend this movie or Sandler but it's annoying to see most of the negative reviews being centered on their bias against Sandler. They went into it wanting to dislike it.

Recent ones yes. I mean I'll need to do a revisit, but I remember enjoying the other ones like Waterboy and Happy Gilmore from his early days. Even Click I remember enjoying, and that was 2005? This is coming from memories of being young though. I haven't enjoyed many of his recent movies. They weren't always like that though, no?

In regards to this actual movie. I see nothing but a shameless cash-in, and also something futurama did better in a more suitable time-frame.

Both solid comedies. I also like Little Nicky a lot but it has Rodney Dangerfield as Satan so it gets extra points to start.

Well I saw it and...

It was awesome! I loved the concept however I feel like it should have had more cameos like miyamoto up in the mothership. Something that also bothered me is how they knew of duck hunt if the only tape they had was from 1982 championships and he was released in 1984? Just something that bothered me. I also felt like the qbert inclusion was awesome. That one girl being the wonder kids idol and him getting married to her I can see that especially when lots of people have crushes on people like samus and peach. Overall great!

Caught Pixels last night as part of a double feature at a drive-in. I didn't hate it. Josh Gad was really funny.

Also, the idea of having cheat codes in games like Pac-Man and Donkey Kong is ludicrous. I'm pretty sure Pixels was supposed to be a comedy, but it wasn't funny at all. I watched it once during Movie Night, never again.
