Why is my data dissaperring?

I was so close to beating earthbound, when i got on my PC and my data was gone!:at-wits-end: Help please!

Your saves are saved as a cookie in your internet browser. If you deleted your cookies then you deleted your saves.

Do you have CCleaner, Glary Tools or some other similar temp file cleaner installed. Those programs delete the save states.

Does sign in affect save files?

If you are using both Beta and Score Mode then yes.

Otherwise then the only thing that would normally mess up your saves is something like CCleaner or Glary Tools or similar program.

All GBA games use Beta in Score Mode. For other systems to use beta you have to scroll to the bottom left of any page and change the style from "default" to "beta".
