The Sims has done an interactive version of an old story, which is what it's like to have infinite power and how do you deal with it. Given that that's an old story, you can imagine how easily that would translate to traditional storytelling.

the only way that i can see something like this working is maybe pull a last action hero move and have the main characters that are playing the game get sucked into the game and make it a reality to them, but that is just my thought on that part..

Dont underestimate the fresh prince. The sims movie could be a movie fans wet dream if they put up an all star cast for it. Steve Carell, Halle Barry, will smith, morgan freeman, al pacino, and jennifer aniston running around in a paradise city? Sounds good to me. But thats if they get a good cast for it.
