Every boss is more of an ass than the last, it's like...a slow progression to the depths of hell.

Well, considering the Megami Tensei series has been around since the late 80's, it most definitely does beat Pokemon.
Although, you can't really compare the two too much.

Although, you can't really compare the two too much.

The only thing you can compare it to is the demon collecting, and the fusion system to the synthesis system in the DQM games.
