Social video games?

Alright, so.
Lately I haven't been feeling too good about myself or the world for that matter, and I don't like it, as I'm an optimist at heart. I want to play more games online but when it comes to that I'm sort of a loner. . so I wanted some suggestions for MMOs or other games that can be played online that kinda.. "force" you to be part of a team to accomplish something. I really need interaction with people, as lonely as that seems lol.

League of Legends is out of the question, I play that already, as is The Old Republic, Minecraft (for sketchy reasons . . . ), RIFT.

Haha, I'm running a less than regular version of the game due to insufficient funds and while you can play online I just don't feel right doing so. . . but maybe I will, who knows?

Tenser's Minecraft server is pretty popular with a lot of the RU dudes right now if you want to give that a try.

The community in DkS is as bad as League of Legends. No thanks. The game is astounding though.

The communities in most games outside of those tied to a Facebook account are all typically abysmal. At the very least, Dark Souls has covenants that protect you from being invaded.

You might consider Destiny or Diablo 3, but I've heard that neither game is spectacular.

Seems like Archeage is a good option. It encourages people to work together and it's free. I just started on the Calleil server if you wanna give it a shot.

Try one of the FPSs like Battlefield. You have to quickly learn to play as a team on many maps or you all die quicker.

Maybe try Neverwinter, it's mostly free but has microtransactions. It's a Dungeons and Dragons based MMORPG

Steampunk airship battles. Each ship has 3 crew and you have to work together or you'll be sunk every time. The community is small but also very dedicated and willing to help new people so they stick around. There's always exceptions of course, but I'm sure you know that.
