This is a thread for people who appreciate the old TV/cartoon shows and look down upon newer shows that will never be as good as classics.
Just to start, I used to watch old nickelodeon and cartoon network shows (90's or older). Nowadays, cartoons just aren't as good as they used to be...

Well, I don't know what this Lazlo character is, but I'm sure he can't hold a candle to Rocko. Rocko's Modern Life was one of my favorites when I was younger.

Camp Lazlo is from the Creator of Rocko's modern life, even with the same voice actors.
it don't live up to Rocko though.

I wasn't too into shows like G.I. Joe and Thundercats. I have watched them both, but I prefered more light hearted shows.
A superhero kind of show I did watch that was awesome: Hong Kong Phooey.
I also watched alot of Speed Racer growing up.

Old Cartoons: I'm a big fan of Transformers G1 and other 80s action programs. 80s cartoons> todays cartoons. I loved the first few Johnny Bravo cartoons alot and Dexter's DA BOMB. I wish they did an O-Ratz series though.

Speaking of Nick-at-Nite, I hear that they are going to remake the old Nick show "Nickelodeon Guts" into a family edition this fall (kind of like how they made double dare into family double dare). Its been a long time since nickelodeon has had a real game show, I hope they don't screw this up.

Remember how they did Gundam Wing when they first put that on Toonami? They had cut & uncut versions. I wish s-Cry-Ed had the same treatment. I like the program, but with it didn't have any foul language in it.

Foul language is overrated though the plot is what matters, Yu yu hakusho first appeared on adult swim with uncut, when it went to toonami it was cut but it was still good.

My favorite is the classic Power Rangers seasons, but the new ones are great to watch. In addition, I liked Ninja Turtles, Doug, Rugrats, GUTS, Legends of the Hidden Temple, and Zoobilee Zoo. Furthermore, Zoobaroos like me were the Sproutlets of that time. The classics should be passed down from generation to generation and thanks to technology, they do.
