WOLF: Attack of the MEME Base Tread

OP says: Welcome to the game gentlemen. All eleventeen of you have played this game before in one fashion or another so forgive me if I bypass the basics.

- There are eleven players, an undisclosed number of which will be informed they are this game's version of a wolf, an FBI agent.

- The FBI agents will know who each other are and thusly, their number.

- No player may PM another player. All interaction between players must be done in this thread.

- Each FBI agent still participating must cast their vote to me in private. It is up to the agents to somehow manage and groupthink in public without being noticed. If an agent does not vote a random player will be selected. If there is not a majority vote amongst the remaining agents, one of those votes will be randomly selected.

- The psychic of this game is a member of Legion and may PM me with their target once a round. The psychic will learn of their target's nature after the wolf's victim for that round has been announced in the thread.

- Each round will consist of three days. The first day is for thread announcements and general discussion. The second is for the group vote. The third is for wolf and psychic target selection.

- The blind death rule is in effect.

- You may only post using images. You may include text within the images.

The setting:

You are all moderators on the 4chan board. I will play the role of moot, the founder of 4chan. The wolves will play as undercover FBI agents that have managed to find their way onto the mod staff. They are attempting to slowly garner enough evidence to convict each staff member of 4chan for possession of child pornography, planted or legitimately.

This process takes three days per member and if they succeed in doing so they will bring down the 4chan.org boards and supplant them with 9gag.gov. This process has already begun.

Fortunately you have Legion on your side which can trace a moderator's ip to discover if they have any connections with the government. Coincidentally this process also takes about three days to complete.

Gentlemen, we have an issue. It appears that the FBI has implanted at least one mole among us. As we speak they are attempting to garner state's evidence and bring down the boards one member at a time.

As you can see, Kugyince is already not with us. Supposedly they discovered mountains upon mountains of images of a "questionable nature" on his hard drive. You need to find these bastards and ban the living hell out of them. Get them off of my board before they can plant more erroneous imagery.

Sorry for the late response but I had to think about how to respond to a PM.

Kong "Doctor" was banned by the mod staff. The next day, yesterday, the FBI agents voted for him to be their next target. Since that was so such an "amazing" thing to do I'm just going to allow it and the FBI lost their turn for it.

Today is a free day, after today we'll pick up the pace and their will be no more free days since the holiday is over.

Staff, pick who you want to ban by tomorrow night.

Thanks Ten, I liked it. The no communication was cool, I think a variation on this could be sweet.

Maybe for the next one, something like people are only allowed to talk in code, and everybody needs to try and decipher others codes... I don't know... anyway, I do think that the no communication, and restriction on posting is awesome, just needs a few tweaks to make it a bit less of a crap shoot.

Yeah, I would have taken away one of the gimmicks. Both were cool, but as separate entities, yeah.

Obviously the shortest amount of time I've ever spent in one of these, so I can't vouch too, too much. For the record, I was talking out of character about having to actually photoshop myself, but eh... Would have been kind of a difficult one to cover without having photoshopped myself, as most of the ones I found were irrelevent, and it was generally more of a comic.

I don't spend any time on meme places either. I kind of just have them shown to me.

But yeah, overall, it was good. Short & Sweet. Story was unique and relatable in ways to forums.

It was an unannounced ability I had in mind if one of the two legion used their power on a second one. I wanted to give the legions a chance at one little extra push without knowing it was possible or what triggered it. A little extra to make up for the huge advantage "blind death" generally gives the wolves.

@SFF: Did you automatically assume that message was from Crispy? Did it occur to you that someone else could have put Crispy's name on it?
