No joke, Mojang are going ahead with the creation of a Minecraft movie - and the strangest thing about it is, it's said {by Bebopvox} that it's supposed to be live action.

:\

I'm not sure whether to be exited or not; personally if I were to make a movie about Minecraft it would be using CGI, and I have a difficult time imagining how they intend to translate this into live action with real people.
Will there be blocks at all?
Will the characters be made to look blocky?
Will Leave it to Beiber play Herobrine?

What do you guys think?

Bieber would ruin Herobrine.

Well, the Lego movie had little to start with and turned out to be a
critical success. Might be the same for Minecraft.

Those real life Creepers will be too spooky.

Did I tell you guys I thought I saw a Creeper IRL once; as I was walking past someone's car which had a door facing my direction open, I looked in and saw a large, rectangular green shape .. which turned out to be a neatly trimmed plant sitting on the floor.

The more I think about what this movie may be like, the more I get a headache.
I just can't wrap my head around how they're planning to do it!

I'll only watch it if Micheal Bay or Uwe Boll are directing it. If they collaborated it'd win oscars.

Oh yessssss.
It would be glorious indeed if they just handed it to Boll.
NOT!

You never know this kind of movie might benefit from their style of game movie making. Making a MC movie already seems ridiculous so you might as well go full on crazy with it.

This is being produced by the same people who did the Lego Movie right?

Seems like it should be pretty good in that case.
