Neverwinter is a Free 2 Play MMORPG on Steam.

Both StarFoxFan and I have joined, I think DrunkN was looking into it too.

Basically it's like any other crappy MMORPG with money shops and it's probably pay to win. That being said, we're using mostly like a chat but with something to do alongside of it.

I'll be creating a guild as soon as I can for the RU community. Basically just a putz around guild where we don't care about the actual game or stats, its just to hang out with friends and maybe do a bit of grinding on the side.

My character's name is Cenric Kugyince. I don't remember SFF's name. Something about wanting to kill Wolf or something.

I played it for a little while, lost interest.

It's basically a replacement for DDO, though from what I gathered not as hardcore into the dungeons and dragons rules as far as I could see.

I'll check it out. I like MMO glorified chat room games sometimes and this in game universe is interesting.

I'll try it and hate it. It does kinda suck that we obv can't send pictures through the chat in it tho. Maybe we could also use the Steam overlay and chat in a group?

How else would I be able to send nudes of myself?

I tried to sign up but couldn't for some reason.
This '.exe' file download popped up, and I got out of there quick.
There's enough crapware on my computer already as it is.

You mean the exe for the game itself flagged your anti virus software? I installed it and had nothing out of the ordinary happen.

First of all there was a redirect to a different page, then when I filled out an application that 'exe' file download popped up as I said, but the name wasn't the same .. so I didn't trust it.

Do you still have that name on the 'exe' you used?
Please tell me what it's named if you do so I can compare.
That game looks not bad and it would be interesting to see if I can run it.

You should download it through Steam. I think what you were prompted to download is some launcher from the parent company, Cryptic, which probably works like Steam does and also gives you some in game bonus junk.
I'm not sure where to look for my exe file since it's Steam. I'll look later.

C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common

I keep it book marked. Make sure to clean that folder out every once in a while, too; you might free up a lot of space on your computer.

I looked in there and saw the exe but I really don't know what to put here to help JG. Mine just says Neverwinter and it also says Cryptic Studios launcher. Get Steam JG it does all the work for you.

So who's actually playing this game? I made a shield guardian dwarf named Fargrim Battlebeard(awesome randomized name!) and I did most of the starter/tutorial stuff. I'm level 5 and in the first city, which is pretty beautiful I must say.

Oh. I remember playing in the beta. I liked the user made quests a fair bit (although people kind of abused the exp and money gain from them) but some of them were really good. My biggest thing is pvp personally so since they said they're trying to rebalance that (it was freakin' broken before) I'm kind of interested in playing again.

Maybe when I have more free time I will try it out.
