I doubt it.. since diamond and pearl are not yellow nor have lugia and Ho-oh.

i know but still, i doubt they will remake gold and silver... it is a possibility though, seeing as they remade red and blue...

It has been confirmed fake. I think it would be great though, seeing as how I think pokemon silver is the best RPG ever made.

Thats World of Warcraft. Its better because its an MMORPG

Those videos are fake, but I found a page with some interesting theories about a possible remake.

True.

You suck then. MMOs are THE best games in the world.

Oh yeah, and Ocarina of Time is THE best RPG in the world.

I have two issues with your last post, somedude. First off, mignelli has as much right to his opinion as you do. Just because he disagrees with you about MMORPGs doesn't mean he sucks. Secondly, Ocarina of Time is not a RPG in any way.

Getting back on topic, I believe they will remake G/S because they will rake in money by doing so.

First of all, if youre spending your whole weekend inside leveling up your goblin dwarf mage shaman elf orc, your the coolest guy I know *sarcasm*. secondly, Ocarina of time isnt as good as pokemon silver. But remember, these are my opinions.except for the MMORPG part.

Pokemon Gold and Silver was the last REAL pokemon game I played. I have played on the newer games, but not really completed it. I only remember the pokemon from the Johnto and Kanto Regions.

MMORPG's are for noobs.
That, my friend, is the understatement of the century. The worst ones are the ones that charge real money for an ingame item, some of which you only get to keep for a couple of hours.

I'm glad you bumped this, I missed Mignellis stupid post the first time around.

In no way is MMORPGs for noobs, it's actually the exact opposite. Noobs don't last in an environment like that, it takes time and effort to get anything done in a constant game world. Sure it's not for everyone but I think MMORPGs are awesome compared to the limited experience of offline, single player rpgs. If the company is good you'll have endless content to explore and if the community is good you'll have countless social interactions that keep the game interesting and fresh.

Also I find it hilarious that this coming from a guy who thinks a Pokemon game is better than Ocarina of Time  Yeah his opinion is so informed!

Also another thing,
But remember, these are my opinions.except for the MMORPG part.Ninjatiamat stood up for Mignelli about his opinions but this statement shows that it wasn't opinion it's just trolling.

Btw don't get me wrong Demon Mask, you're entitled to your opinions.

-Ocarina of Time is probubly my favorite game of all time.
-MMOs get boring quickly for me.
-The only Pokemon Games I ever liked were Red and Blue,
but there's nothing wrong with remakes.

Silver was MY game (duplication FTW)

---------- Post added 10-30-2009 at 12:33 PM ---------- Previous post was 10-29-2009 at 09:18 PM ----------

Also, to add some meaning to my post...

MMO's are for noobs. You start by "passing time", then you find yourself selling your soul for XP.

Leveling up in MMO's always result in a false sense of pride, while proving to yourself that you still don't have a girlfriend.

:bad:
Are you really going with that cliche no girlfriend thing? I played FFXI for 4-5 years and the entire time I had a steady girlfriend and we're still together after I quit. What's next you gonna claim they all live in their mom/grandmas basement too? I know many people who enjoy MMOs and live normal lives. Stereotypes fail.

Also the only people selling their souls for exp or living girlfriendless in the basement are the same people who end up as crackheads, addictive personalities.

Why would someone think Pokemon is better that Ocarina of Time, you can get bored with a Pokemon game, but Ocarina of time never gets old.

I have the opposite opinion. With over a minimum of 150 pokemon, the replay value of Pokemon defeats all others.

There is alot of replay value, but the battle system with four options, four moves, six pokemon and some items gets stale after 50 hours or so, especially in games like Diamond and Pearl which, unlike Platinum, do not have a battle frontier. I mostly raise pokemon for my cousin now, because I have ran out of things to do.

Haha. Of course, there are exceptions. But me and cliches? Always. No girlfriend, in mom's basement, acne-riddled face with broken, big-framed glasses, while wearing a black Snuggie.

Nah, MMO's aren't that bad, it just seems useless. There's always going to be someone better than you, someone worse, more grinding, more time wasted. I mean, I don't think standard video games are the best things to use time for, but MMO's? Maybe I just haven't played the right ones.

I think that's the problem. Before I played FFXI I was of the same opinion. Once my friends started playing it I tried it and fell in love instantly.
That was my first time playing a game that let you exsist along side other real players. You could run through a zone/level and find random people doing random things almost every time. No offline RPG comes close to the level of replay a MMORPG has. Besides that there's the community you become a part of. I miss running through town and seeing old friends going about their business as usual or meeting new players who need help. Now when I play a normal RPG I get bored easy from the linear repetition.

That being said you have to find the right MMORPG or it won't work like that. I've tried a few others and most have been failures. Anything that is heavy on instances is automatically boring to me. I like a constant game world where players can interact randomly.

Sorry to go offtopic.
I used to play Monster Rancher on PS1 or 2 and I loved it but I never got into Pokemon. I guess I never liked it because of the characters all being like 10 years old and the pokemon look too cutesy, even the evil/bad/whatever pokemon. The only time I liked Pokemon is during Brawl, the items are cool and Pokemon Trainer is fun to play.

Pokemon Trainer should of just been named Red, they look EXACTLY alike.

http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/nintendo/en/images/thumb/7/7b/Red_Pok%C3%A9monRB.png/180px-Red_Pok%C3%A9monRB.png - Red from Red/Blue/Green/Yellow

So to me, he is Red. too bad it isn't Pika, Poli, and Saur as his team :( I understand it though, Green/Red/Blue's poke's given by Oak though.

Heart Gold and Soul silver for the DS if I remember right.
