Great list. T2 and Se7en almost made mine.

I know everyone has more than 5 so it's quite hard to choose. When I saw Avengers I did a Homer.... DOH!!!

Heh heh, we've all got our quirks. It's just too easy for me to totally blow two hours watching Avengers. There's just no point where I get bored or ask myself if I should keep watching it or move onto something else.

Another close contender for me was The Matrix: Reloaded. Did you have any close choices?

1. Bowling for Colombine
2. Rocky 4
3. Tommy Boy
4. King of Kong

Funny, I just finished watching this in school today. Really liked it. Moore asked the questions that the mainstream media wouldn't.

[Tails]

1. Back To The Future Part 1
2. Batman
3. Lion King
4. Aladdin
5. Toy Story

[psimaster]

Basically the opposite of the worst movie you have ever seen. For me, it's UP. I have no complaints about this. It's sad, it's funny, it's charming, it's dark, it's happy, it's well written, it has perfect character development. There were some parts that made me cry. It's just all of these factors into one perfect movie. And so it's my all-time favorite movie.

[kernzy]

UP?
never heard of it!
there's too many brilliant movies to choose just 1, or even a top 5.
i'd choose Terminators, Back To The Future's, Alien(s), The Blues Brothers, and lot's more!!

[Tails]

Topics merged.

[CrispyChicken]

@Kernzy- Up is a Pixar movie made a few years back.

I love that movie, I like how each of the featured characters react to those questions. The interview with James Nichols is epic.

1)Gladiator
2)The Shawshank Redemption
3)Forrest Gump
4)The Last Samurai
5)Pulp Fiction

[StarfoxFan2009]

1. Goldfinger (1964) One of the best Connery Bond flicks, if not the greatest in terms of villains
2. Forrest Gump (1994) One of Tom Hanks' best films since Philadelphia.
3. Lion King (1994) Elton John did a great job score wise, great voice cast as well.
4. A Streetcar Named Desire (1951) Brando's second best pre-Godfather role besides On The Waterfront.
5. The Great Dictator (1940) Charlie Chaplin's greatest contribution to film besides The Kid, Gold Rush and Modern Times. Really well done speech improvisation as well
