This movie seems that it has the familiar storyline in which some ordinary guy is actually the "One" who fulfills the "prophecy" despite that the supporting characters do half the work, especially the female character who isn't as "important."

Well that was... You know what, that was actually pretty damn great.

I liked that trailer a lot. I definitely didn't expect to find myself appreciating the writing of anything attached to LEGO, but I guess I've been surprised before.

its a movie targeted for kids, why try to look so deep into it? anyways, i think it looks like it would be worth a watch

Wow this movie actually has a solid voice acting cast. Will Ferrell, Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman, and Elizabeth Banks. I love how they are incorporating a lot of different movies/characters like Batman, Gandalf/Lord of the Rings, Wonder Woman, TMNT, etc.

I'll be honest, I laughed at the "First try!" Batman joke. In fact, I thought most of Batman's lines were pretty funny. I'd see it with my little cousins or just wait until DVD. Looks pretty good though. Reminds me of Wreck it Ralph (which was fantastic).
