I wouldn't exactly call it "wt heck," but what always stood out to me was...

The Green Bird scene in Cowboy Bebop.

The change of pace is pretty jarring, but the song and display stole me anyways. The flashbacks in particular made me realize how little I actually knew about the lead character.

The one shocking twist i have seen in my life was episode 6 of the anime familiar to zero, when the secretary Miss Longueville revealed herself as the thief Foquet.

And who can forget the twist that happen on episode 11 of Blood-C, When it turns out that the entire town Ukishima Province turned out to be a farce and all of Saya's friends and her teacher were nothing more than actors who participated in the experiment for their own selfish reasons.

Oh, and Fumito was behind the whole thing.

Guys please watch what you post. Using internet slang that implies a banned word is not allowed in the public forums. If Tenser allows it this can be moved to the Anime group where I don't think he minds the language. Thanks.

I agree with DN about the Green Bird from Cowboy Bebop - pretty shocking the first time you see it, and maintains a certain impact thereafter.

IN FACT, come to think of it the whole Syndicate/ Vicious/ Julia/ Spike story has a certain impact as well.

SPOILER ALERT:
Do not read if you haven't watched the series!

Last chance, I warned you; I'm giving it all away inside the next spoiler!

No lie, I was crying the last episode - that was a truly shocking and tragic scene with Julia.

You see, the main story in Cowboy Bebop is about Spike Spiegel who defected from the Syndicate of the Red Dragon because of his love for her, so they could be together .. and to think he had been longing to see her for all those years while working with Jet Black aboard the Bebop , never once mentioning her or that sad and terrible situation that tore them apart, not even to his trusted partner.

Years later he finds her, only for her to be killed while they fled from agents of the Syndicate - leading to his final confrontation with Vicious.
With Julia gone, all he had left was revenge.

So I guess the second most shocking moment to me was after the final battle with Vicious, when Spike was surrounded by heavily armed agents inside the Syndicate headquarters, staggering from multiple gunshot wounds and the wounds from Vicious' sword, Spike holds his thumb and forefinger in the gesture of a gun and says:

'BANG!'

.. then falls dead among the rest of the victims of that final battle.

And now for something completely different:

The most shocking moments in Kanokon?

Most definitely N.S.F.W.!
{or any other place for that matter}

Moon Princess is sailor moon - YouTube
Brings me to tears every time I see it.

And also Urutsukidoji was arguably the craziest anime I ever saw.

I'm guilty of watching Sailor Moon back in grade school. Would watch it in my room with the volume low so my brothers wouldn't hear me...

Kurokami Ep 3

Totally out of nowhere, no foreshadowing what-so-ever:

Of course there was. She said she saw her doppleganger. That's all you need to know in this anime. Sudden death is a must.

There's more shocking moments i have for you guys and it is from the anime called A Certain Scientific Railgun

The scientist Harumi turns out to be one of the villains who created the level upper network. Although she wasn't really evil to begin with, the REAL bad guy was Therestina Kihara Lifeline.

oI would have to say It was either Crying Freeman 2 or 3 and they had a full-on Hentai Scene.... Whoa...lmao!

Dude I remembered seeing covers of Crying Freeman at Blockbusters in the mid 90's I laughed by looking at it I even wanted to rent several of their movies but my mom and several employees would look at me weird at the front.

I can't recall seeing anything shocking in anime because i watch most of them on tv those are the ones that's suitable to everyone I'm more of a Manga fan well used to be. But one started out as a novel it.s called Monster so in a small town 2 elderly couples was going around town handling firearms to everyone including a kid that was being bullied by several others he eventually shot them and the scene was bloody. The one that airs on TV refuse to go further to the end of the show because it gotten so violent.

Learning about Lucy's past in Elfen Lied stunned me. That series tore my heart to pieces and nestled it's blackened, squirming tendrils in the space it left behind.

My buddy Mark: "You cn call my dad, he will give you permission to rent it to me."
Clecrk calls dad: "Ummm.. yeah it's basically pornographic."
Dad ask to speak to Mark: "ummm, Mark why don't you choose another one..."
