Don't be shy! If you're new to Retro Uprising we'd very much like to have you.
MAFIA is a game of "who dunnit" played by two teams; the mafia and the innocent. If you've played WOLF, it's much like that, though I intend to make it move a little quicker.
The Rules
Teams are randomly assigned. The team of mafians know who else is in the mafia, but the team of innocents only know how many mafians there are. The mafians will be outnumbered at the start, and must be deceptive so that their true identities are not compromised.
Some players will be given special roles and abilities. No one will know who, exactly, these people will be.
Each round will consist of two stages: Day and Night.
Day - Every remaining player will nominate one person to eliminate.
Dusk - Every player with special roles will use their abilities, and the mafians will decide on a player to eliminate from the game.
Rounds will continue until one side achieves victory.
Innocent victory - The number of mafians must equal zero.
Mafian victory - The number of mafians must rival the number of innocents.

I intend for this to be a rather quick game, so if you can't check the thread every day, no big deal. The game will probably go on for at least a week or two, so make sure you can at least stop in during that time. I will be starting the game one week from now, and it would be great if we could get 16 players.
If you wanna play, post here. If you don't wanna play, post here and say why. If you have any questions, ask them here.
EDIT: Well hey! Looks like we already have 8 players. That's the optimal minimum we'll need, but it would be great if we could get some more. If you like, feel free to invite any non-RU friends to join in for the game.
EDIT 2: Now that we have 12 players, the ball is really rolling. It's a little more ideal than 8, but I think if someone else can get one more person to join in, I'd be able to get three people to raise us to 16.
